Only my second ever Lino cut, just a small try out but I really enjoyed it so there may be many more to come!! This one is about a very special British bird that has been brought back from virtual extinction there are now around 75 males in England. I'm going to screen print some tea towels which will be of a similar idea with the quote "Once 'Bittern' Twice Shy" so keep your eyes peeled lovely bloggers. ciao for now! x
Cute! And I LOVE lino cuts...in my opinion, they're the best type of printmaking. There's something incredibly satisfying about cutting into the linoleum with a sharp knife, ya know?

i found it quite therapeutic :) lino printing is so lovely and crafty I love all the little marks, going to play with some more colours and hopefully make this become 2 colours one for the water and one for the reeds and bird! exciting!
